We have a dedicated and experienced construction department which advises clients, including property developers, civil engineering and building contractors and specialist sub-contractors and suppliers in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
In contentious matters, we deal with the broad range of building construction litigation and arbitration, including claims for payment, damages for defects etc. and defences as appropriate, problems of main contractor insolvency, termination of main/sub-contracts, quantum meruit claims and insurance claims.
In non-contentious matters we advise on the legal aspects of tender documents and the drafting of main and sub-contracts and joint venture/consortium agreements both incorporated and unincorporated.
