Marketing and Communications Executive

The role will support the Marketing and Communications Manager and the Partners in developing and executing marketing activities and campaigns that align with the firm’s strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in marketing and communications within a professional law firm.

Major responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement innovative marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns to support the firm’s strategic objectives
  • Manage online and in-person events from end-to-end, including planning, execution, post-event follow-ups and evaluation
  • Coordinate with relevant parties on the issuance and promotion of marketing collaterals and digital communications, such as social media posts, videos, EDM, and dynamic content
  • Write and edit various materials, including press releases, post-event news, and promotional marketing materials
  • Manage submissions for key industry and practice awards, showcasing the firm’s achievements and expertise
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet tight deadlines and manage expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional)
  • 1-2 years of experience in professional services BD/ marketing environment, preferably in the legal sector/ professional firm (fresh graduates will also be considered)
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary and travel to Mainland China
  • Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) is desirable
  • Practical, proactive, commercially minded and service driven with a “can do” and positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to details
