Samson was admitted to practise as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2001 and in England and Wales in 2002. He joined the firm in 2006.
Samson has extensive experience in both contentious and commercial IP matters including IP litigation and enforcement, IP registration, brand protection, licensing on trademarks, patents, copyright and film rights, IP rights and technology transfer, media and entertainment contracts, due diligence on IP for corporate finance, restructuring and M&A related work, and so forth. Before joining the firm, Samson worked as a solicitor in the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the HKSAR, advising Government bureaux and departments on Government contracts and other intellectual property matters.
Samson is also a member of the firm’s immigration department. He handles immigration cases, in particular, applications for residence and citizenship under both domestic and global programmes including Malta, St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Portugal and so forth.
