Dominic is dually qualified to practice law in Hong Kong and New York (USA). He is a solicitor advocate (civil), an HKIAC-accredited tribunal secretary, and a notary public.
He has over 15 years of practical experience in civil litigation and international arbitration. His civil practice covers a wide range of dispute areas, including shareholders disputes, contracts for financial services and products, enforcement of security interests, asset tracing and recovery, general commercial transactions, real estate and tenancy, and insolvency. His substantial experience in court litigation qualifies him to be one of the few solicitors appointed by the High Court in recent years to supervise the execution of an injunction. He also regularly represents and advises clients on white-collar and quasi-criminal matters. His mixed civil / criminal practice provides him with insights into the financial industry and bolsters his third practice: regulatory investigation and defence, and advising on issues relating to the SFC and the HKEX.
