We are pleased to announce that our Partner and Head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, Ms. Heidi Chui, and Partner Mr. Gordon Tsang, have been specially appointed as mediators of Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People’s Court. The appointment is effective from 20 April 2023, for a term of three years.
The “Comprehensive Deepening Reform and Opening Up of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” proposes to establish an international legal service center and an international commercial dispute resolution center in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone and explore the connection of different legal systems and cross-border regulations. To thoroughly implement the Plan and diversify dispute resolution mechanisms for international commercial cases, the Qianhai Court has invited 20 mediators from Hong Kong and Macao regions.
