On 8 May 2023, our Partner Mr. Gordon Tsang was invited to speak at the “ESG, AI & Tech, and Wealth Management”. The seminar, co-organised by GBA Finance and Commerce and Association, GBAi for tech and GreenMind, focused on capital markets and private wealth.
During his presentation, Mr. Tsang provided a comprehensive overview of the latest IPO updates in Hong Kong and the US, covering various aspects of IPO listing rules and practices. He discussed updates to the listing requirements, accountability of Red-Chips listing, H-shares listing, trust arrangements, and latest development on VIE structures. He also provided a detailed comparison of the pros and cons of listing in Hong Kong and the United States.
