SW partners visited AllBright in Xiamen and Fuzhou

Our partners Mr. Eric Lui, Ms. Heidi Chui, Mr. Rodney Teoh and with Head of Business Development Ms. Connie Yeung visited the offices of AllBright in Xiamen and Fuzhou from 23 – 24 May 2017.

Mr. Lui, Ms. Chui and Mr. Teoh held seminars at AllBright’s Xiamen and Fuzhou office to discuss topics including banking & finance, capital market (IPO and M&A), dispute resolution and family trusts. The seminars shed light on the latest development of related laws in Hong Kong and practical execution of the mainland judicial system, and also examined the opportunities and challenges that Fujian, Xiamen and Hong Kong could come across with regards to the “One Belt One Road” policy.

More than 10 lawyers participated in the discussion and contributed their views on M&A in Hong Kong and offshore companies and family trusts. The participants shared their experiences on mainland arbitration and the issues which they have encountered during the execution of arbitration awards. The seminar led to fruitful discussions, which was a huge success to cement the foundation for further cooperation between our firms.

Headquartered in Shanghai with offices in 17 cities in China including Beijing, Chengdu and Tianjin, AllBright is a top-notch law firm receiving the recognition from Chambers and Partners as a leading Chinese law firm for three consecutive years. Stevenson, Wong & Co. entered into a formal association with AllBright in November 2013. The establishment of the association complements and strengthens the client service offerings of both firms in mainland China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
