On 1 August 2021, our Partner and Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, Ms. Heidi Chui, was invited to be the presiding arbitrators at FDI Moot Shenzhen 2021.

Organised by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the 2-day competition attracted 42 teams from Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, and Macau SAR. As one of the pre-eminent international investment arbitration moot competitions, the event received strong supports from over 26 worldwide renowned organisations, including the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (UNCITRAL RCAP), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Court of Arbitration (ICC), Department of Justice (DoJ) Hong Kong, and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

About FDI Moot Shenzhen
Organised by the Centre for International Legal Studies (CILS), FDI Moot is one of the three Global most significant arbitration moot competitions. It aims to simulate the use of ISCID’s rules and procedures or other international arbitration institutions to resolve the investment disputes between the investor and the host. The winning team of FDI Moot Shenzhen will receive the ticket to advance to the FDI Moot Global.
