About Ms. Heidi Chui

Heidi Chui is a partner at Stevenson, Wong & Co., heading the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, and Banking and Finance Department. She is also co-head of the FinTech practice group and was previously, seconded to serve as an in-house legal advisor of several Chinese banks.

Ms. Chui specializes in international commercial litigation, international arbitration and dispute resolution and frequently assists banks, borrowers, insurance companies, property management companies, funds, listed companies and financial institutions. Heidi is experienced and adept at providing legal advice on asset tracing, mortgage litigation, corporate takeover, enforcement of judgments, winding-up of companies and bankruptcy.

The 5-day conference featured a series of meticulously curated programs that unveiled new strategies and insights to enhance professional development in various legal topics. As the Asia Pacific Chair of Interlaw’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Affinity Group, Lai attended the committee’s meeting on the topic of “Re-defining Diversity, Inclusion, and Community”.

On the first day of the conference, Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of Hong Kong, delivered a keynote speech addressing the opportunities for the wealth management industry and Hong Kong’s role, emphasizing the tremendous opportunities for the development of the wealth management industry in the Greater Bay Area and new incentives such as tax exemptions for family offices to attract wealth management into Hong Kong.
