Our Partner and Head of SW Private Client, Wendy Lam, and Partner and Trust and Estate Practitioner of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Calvin Lo, attended the STEP Asia Conference 2023 held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong from 14 to 15 November 2023. The conference brought together more than 500 industry professionals from 28 countries to discuss cutting-edge topics relevant to the wealth management community under the theme “Out of chaos comes change – opportunities in the private wealth industry”.
This year’s conference provided speakers and attendees from worldwide a platform to delve into various topics, including family office, firewall legislation on forced heirship, privacy issues, estate planning, and more.
