(中文) 2022年4月21日，本所合伙人，诉讼及争议解决部主管徐凯怡律师应中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会（贸仲）邀请，为「贸仲直播间 “解读国际仲裁” 系列- 第二期: 国际仲裁中的损害赔偿与估价」担任演讲嘉宾。本次研讨会由贸仲、威科集团（WoltersKluwer）和国际争议解决研究院（IDRA）联合主办，通过贸仲直播间、新浪微博同步直播，吸引了97,000余人次在线收看。

本次研讨会邀请了来自境内外的著名国际仲裁专家和学者就国际仲裁中的损害赔偿与估价的法律、和经济两大方面展开讨论。贸仲仲裁院副院长解常晴女士、威科集团法律合规部总监Gwende Vries女士，和贸仲事业发展处副处长陆菲女士分别为研讨会致开幕辞和主持开幕式。

徐律师在会上就国际仲裁中损害赔偿和估价之经济问题的主要方法和实际考虑进行了分享。她向与会者介绍了损害赔偿评定的一般性原则和认定的三种主要方法，并分享了损害赔偿评定在并购纠纷中的应用，以及在聘请评定专家时的考虑。

On 12 April 2022, our Partner Rodney Teoh was invited by Alliance Advisors to be one of their webinar guest speakers at the Webinar “Navigating the SPAC listing in Hong Kong”.

During the webinar, Rodney shed light on the Hong Kong SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) listing regime by introducing the background and key listing requirements of SPACs in Hong Kong. He also illustrated the pros and cons of SPAC listings as compared with traditional IPOs, and the differences among the SPAC regimes around the world. He concluded the sharing with an analysis on the recent SPAC listing applications in Hong Kong, as well as by highlighting the benefits of the Hong Kong SPAC listing regime for potential listing applicants in the Mainland and the prospects of development.

The webinar was a great success, which received positive feedbacks from an audience of hundreds.

(中文) 2022年3月30日，本所合伙人、诉讼及争议解决部主管徐凯怡律师，透过其虚拟形象(avatar)出席了2022巴黎仲裁周中首届元宇宙全球线上论坛- “元宇宙中的第一届仲裁论坛：web 3.0的法律影响”。

本次虚拟全球仲裁论坛由MetaverseLegal主办，在虚拟空间Horizon Workroom举行。16位参与者以虚拟形象方式（包括徐律师）参加了桌上讨论，超过170名参与者通过视频链接参与论坛。论坛重点讨论了四大热点议题，包括：元宇宙的关键特征、元宇宙中可能出现的争议、元宇宙争议解决的现况，以及元宇宙的去中心化争议解决。

徐律师表示，以自己的虚拟形象方式参加元宇宙第一届仲裁论坛是一次大开眼界的经历。她对 MetaverseLegal 组织了这次盛大的活动表示感谢，并期待未来能与全球不同司法区域的业界友好在虚拟世界空间中进行交流和互动。

On 22 March 2022, our Partner, Head of Banking and Finance department, and Dispute Resolution department, Ms. Heidi Chui, represented The Law Society of Hong Kong to meet with the Deputy Consul-General of Australia in Hong Kong, Mr. Ryan Neelam, and Consul Mr. Patrick Orchard, regarding the legal practice in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Ms. Chui is a member of the Hong Kong Law Society’s Greater China Legal Affairs Committee and Vice-Chairperson of the Organising Committee of Cross Strait Four Regions Young Lawyers Forum 2022.

The meeting discussed the wealth of opportunities presented within the GBA, including the established framework for Hong Kong legal practitioners to qualify and practise law in the GBA, the GBA Legal Professional Examination and the Pilot Administrative Measures for Hong Kong legal practitioners to practise law in the GBA as issued by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province.

(中文) 2022年1月7日，本所合伙人﹑诉讼及争议解决部主管徐凯怡律师，受邀为山西省法学会港澳台法律研究会2021年年會担任演讲嘉宾﹐向与会者介绍香港在个人资料（私隐）之相关条例和分享实战经验。本次研究会由山西省法学会港澳台法律研究会和山西省政法管理干部学院主办，并由上海市锦天城（太原）律师事务所和中国国际贸易促进委员会山西商事法律服务中心承办。

徐律师在会上透过案例分享，说明了个人资料保障的六大核心原则﹐如收集之目的及方式﹑准确性和保存期等。徐律师亦阐释了新出台的《2021年个人资料（私隐）修订条例》﹐并从规管对象﹑个人资料/ 信息之定义和行政罚款权等方面﹐对香港和中国内地的个人信息保护法进行了全面的对比和解说。

Our Partner, Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, Ms. Heidi Chui, has been appointed by Shanghai Arbitration Commission (the “SHAC”) as new Panel (the 7^th Cohort) of Arbitrator, with effect from 1 January 2022.

Established in 1995, SHAC has arbitrated over 40,000 cases involving dispute amount over RMB 200 billion. SHAC received over 3000 registration forms from all over the world. After rounds of reviews, 386 overseas arbitrators were selected, with 68 arbitrators from Hong Kong. The appointed arbitrators are reputable professors, senior accountants, senior lawyers with extensive experience in arbitration, trial, and financial management nationally and globally.

Ms. Chui is one of the few solicitors accredited and listed on the panel of arbitrators for The Law Society of Hong Kong. She is also an arbitrator of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Hainan International Arbitration Court (Hainan Arbitration Commission), Nanjing Arbitration Commission, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Ningbo Arbitration Commission, Hefei Arbitration Commission and Langfang Arbitration Commission.

She is also an accredited mediator of HKAIC, The Law Society of Hong Kong and a Panel Mediator for Buildings Management Cases of the Lands Tribunal, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K.). She is also a China Appointed Attesting Officer as appointed by the Ministry of Justice PRC.
