Stevenson, Wong & Co.’s 2019 Spring Dinner took place at The World Trade Centre Club on 15 March 2019. This year, the theme was “Superheroes”, in recognition of every member of the firm who has strived to make an impact in our society.
On 15 March 2019, representatives from AllBright Law Office paid a friendly visit to Stevenson, Wong & Co. (“SW”) and met with our partners Ms. Heidi Chui, Ms. Milly Hung, senior associates Mr. Samson Wong and Mr. Gordon Tsang. SW partner Ms. Heidi Chui, senior associate Mr. Samson Wong and Mr. Gordon Tsang gave an introduction of SW’s services and exchanged ideas with the audience so as to develop further co-operation between our firms.
SW acted as legal advisers to International Alliance Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 1563) (“IA Finance Leasing”) in its successful listing on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Stock Exchange”). IA Finance Leasing offered a total of 495 million shares, which were listed on the Stock Exchange on 15 March 2019.
On 14 March 2019, Qingdao Lawyers Association paid a friendly visit to Stevenson, Wong & Co. (“SW”) and met with our partners Mr. Willy Cheng, Ms. Catherine Por, Ms. Heidi Chui and senior associate Mr. Gordon Tsang. SW partner Mr. Willy Cheng gave an introduction of SW’s history and services.
On 8 March 2019, our Partner Ms. Heidi Chui, and Trainee Solicitors Mr. Tommy Chan and Ms. Lillian Yan, attended as alumni guest speakers at the “Career Aspirations with HKU” Talk by the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong.
On 8 March 2019, Stevenson, Wong & Co. Partner Mr. Stephen Wong was invited to give a presentation to the members of The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies.
