Stevenson, Wong & Co. is pleased to announce that our Partner and Head of Banking and Finance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Co-head of the FinTech Group, Heidi Chui, alongside our Partner and Deputy Head of Corporate Finance and Co-head of the FinTech Group, Rodney Teoh, have been honoured as Growth Drivers in The A-List 2025–26 by China Business Law Journal.

This distinction marks the sixth consecutive year that Mr. Lo has received this accolade. Following his inclusion in 2024, he has once again been listed in the highest tier, the “Visionaries” category, underscoring his exceptional professional expertise and leadership within the industry.
The CBLJ “The A-List Elite Lawyers” list aims to honour top lawyers who have made significant contributions to the China market and China-related business. The selection process is based on extensive market research, incorporating thousands of nominations and independent evaluations from in-house counsel, company executives, and legal professionals.
The list is divided into three categories: “Visionaries,” “Growth Drivers,” and “Rising Stars.” The “Visionaries” category specifically celebrates senior legal leaders who excel both within their firms and across the broader industry. These elite individuals typically hold pivotal roles such as managing partners or department heads, leveraging their strategic foresight to contribute to the advancement of the legal profession.
Mr. Lo possesses over three decades of extensive experience in capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate compliance. Recently, he has been admitted to practise as a solicitor in the United Arab Emirates and actively expanding the firm’s legal services into the UAE and the Middle East to facilitate Chinese enterprises with their “going global” strategies and international expansion.

We are thrilled to announce that our Partner, Rodney Teoh, Deputy Head of Corporate Finance and Co-Head of Fintech, has been recognised by Asia Legal Business (ALB) as one of the Top Greater Bay Area (GBA) Dual-Qualified Lawyers for 2025. This esteemed accolade highlights Rodney’s exceptional legal expertise and his pivotal role in shaping the rapidly evolving legal landscape within the Greater Bay Area.
Rodney is among the first cohort of Hong Kong lawyers to successfully pass the GBA legal professional examination (GBA Examination). In addition to his qualifications in Hong Kong and the PRC (GBA), he is also qualified in Australia (NSW) and England & Wales. His impressive quad qualification, combined with extensive experience in equity and debt capital markets and private investments, enables him to adeptly handle cross-border matters involving Hong Kong, the PRC, and Southeast Asia.
The GBA Examination, launched in 2021, aims to accelerate the development of the Greater Bay Area and foster closer collaboration among legal professionals within the GBA legal services market. Following the successful completion of the examination and the acquisition of the relevant practice certificate, Hong Kong legal practitioners with the requisite years of accumulated legal practice experience are now permitted to provide legal services in the nine Mainland municipalities of the GBA for specified civil and commercial matters.

From 8 to 11 October 2025, our Partners, Willy Cheng and Lai Lam, represented our firm at the Interlaw 2025 Annual Global Meeting held in Edinburgh. As a founding member of Interlaw since 1982, our firm holds the distinction of being the sole representative from Hong Kong in this global network of more than 90 law firms in over 150 cities across the world.
The theme for this year’s meeting was “Optimism and Opportunity in An Era of Change.” Throughout the four-day event, Mr. Cheng and Ms. Lam participated in a series of thoughtfully curated sessions on strategy and leadership. addressing critical topics on global real estate trends, the current economic landscape in banking and finance, and the dynamics of mergers and acquisitions. They also explored emerging issues in intellectual property and social media regulation.
Over 200 delegates attended the event , which provided valuable insights into navigating the evolving legal landscape and highlighted opportunities for collaboration within the global Interlaw legal community.
