The IAFL Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting, was held thoughout the period from 31 May to 4 June. It provided insights and updates on various aspects of family law and covered topics such as marriage-like relationships in Southeast Asia, the application of Sharia law in jurisdictions with mixed legal systems, international surrogacy law and the abduction of children to non-Hague convention countries.

The conference aimed to encourage collaboration in the modern service industry between Zhejiang and Hong Kong professionals and chambers to create more business opportunities and achieve mutual benefits. The conference attracted more than 300 guests from both regions. Through the “1+1” partner invitation method, 20 pairs of Zhejiang and Hong Kong enterprises were successfully matched, with a total contract value of approximately RMB 6.02 billion.
