On 26 November 2019, Stevenson, Wong & Co. successfully co-organized the ALB Greater Bay Area Legal Forum 2019 at the Conrad Hotel in Guangzhou. Experts were invited to discuss the latest developments in legal services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

By sharing the new 16 measures in the Greater Bay Area and the requirements of IPO’s, Mr. Lo also analysed the advantages of setting up a company in the Greater Bay Area and the latest developements in the Hong Kong IPO market.

Ms. Heidi Chui, partner and the head of banking and Finance, Litigation and Disputes Resolution, explained the law and regulations under financial technology and innovation and shared her practical experience of establishing a new era of smart banking. Ms. Chui discussed how the Hong Kong Government supports and promotes fintech innovations including how the fintech regulatory sandbox introduced by the HKMA assists banks and technology companies.
